An Hermès Dinner: Mario Katigbak Hosts a Party in the Hermès Flagship Store -

When Mario Katigbak hosted a dinner at the Hermès store, a pop-up kitchen was set up outside the second floor entrance, where a chef from Shangri-La Makati prepared the food. Inside a table for six was surrounded by the collection of porcelain home ware, some of which were used as service for that night. Guests dined on plates with jaguars and macaws, taken from the hyperrealist gouache paintings of Robert Dallet. Even the food plating was inspired by the naturalist’s spontaneous sketching, which had caught the attention of Jean-Louis Dumas, who commissioned the maison to imprint the wild life on the Hermès porcelain.
