We Have Never Needed A Louis Vuitton This Much...Ever -

We can’t keep up with Louis Vuitton.

With the recent launch of their Time Capsule exhibit in Singapore last October 18, the eponymous luxury house has proven that through the years their sleeves never seem to run out of tricks. From elaborate exhibits to sudden collaborations with the art industry’s best and most innovative, Louis Vuitton is at the top of their game.

For those of you who missed the memo, Louis Vuitton recently released another artist collaboration last April with none other than Jeff Koons, acclaimed contemporary artist and mastermind behind the ‘Balloon Dog’ which sold for over $58 Million—no big deal.

Koons worked hand-in-hand with the Louis Vuitton powerhouse to bring you their first collaboration The Masters Collection, which features imagery from Koon’s Gazing Ball series of paintings. Works by legends such as Da Vinci, Rubens, Titian, and Van Gogh, have been displaced onto staples such as the Neverfull, the Keepall, and the Speedy. French actress Léa Seydoux stands as a muse for the collaboration.

Recently, Louis Vuitton dropped a second collection with Koons, this time around featuring the likes of Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Édouard Manet, Nicolas Poussin, J.M.W. Turner and François Boucher. The full collection is set to be released this October 27, and here are just some of the pieces to look forward to:

“What’s wonderful about working with Louis Vuitton is that there really aren’t parameters. When they come and speak to you about a project, everybody already has an understanding of what the possibilities are to create something special. We both had the same objective: we wanted to make something that really uses material, texture and colour to communicate and create something desirable. So there was tremendous freedom,” states Koon.

Mark your calendars, because October 27 is going to be one for the books.
