Thea Jacinto weds Andy Ugarte in his Family's Beach home at Nasugbu -

Andy Ugarte and Thea Jacinto met as teenagers. As Thea tells it, “Andy was the best friend of the older brother of one of my closest friends.” After graduating from college, they both moved to New York in the summer of 2010, and started dating a few years later. Of his romantic proposal, Thea says, “It was just the two of us in one of our favorite NYC spots. It was perfect.”

Their wedding took place by the beach. “It had always been Andy’s dream to get married in the beach house he grew up in,” says the happy bride. The result was a ceremony and party that was as relaxed and laidback as possible.

What made the day so special for Thea were the little touches. Her gown was designed by Rajo Laurel, and Thea appreciated the sentimentality in his design. “He made everything so personal and even incorporated my drawings for our invitations into what we wore,” she says.  “It was so special and there was so much love put in to it.”

For the reception, the garden was adorned with capiz strands hanging from the trees. Preferring a local and tropical theme, Floriade Flower Shop displayed a spectacular tropical arrangement that highlighted Andy’s home. With the band set up in the deck of the house overlooking the garden, the married couple, their family and friends danced the night away. “It was everything I could have wanted and more,” says Thea.
