Louis Vuitton, eponymous in its own right, has something grandeur to offer yet again straight from its 160-year-old playbook. Checking off Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Berlin from their list, Louis Vuitton has announced the opening of its Time Capsule exhibition in ION Orchard, Singapore.
Running from October 18 until November 5, the “Time Capsule” will flaunt a hand selected collection of pieces dug straight from the Louis Vuitton archive.
The exhibition starts by transporting you back to 1854, the pivotal year where Vuitton first established his travel luggage business in Paris at 4 Rue Neuve des Capucines.
From there, landmark innovations on technology and design in this day and age are told through the eyes of the luxury house.
The latter includes a demonstration of fine leatherwork skills by French artisans, to a visual timeline focusing on the five key aspects: Codes of the House, Journeys around the World, Elegance and Beauty in Motion, Louis Vuitton and the Arts and Magic Malle.
Some of the distinguished guests from the Philippines in attendance were Mari Jasmine & Janine Gutierrez. Also in attendance was South Korean model and actress Lee Sung-kyung.
To merely describe the experience would not give LV’s Time Capsule the justice it so rightfully deserves. Therefore, we highly suggest that you do yourself a favor and book the next flight to Singapore to experience it yourself.
