Theater aficionados trekked to the Power Mac Spotlight Theater in Circuit Makati the new home of Red Turnip Theater for the Asian premiere of Nick Payne’s romantic odyssey CONSTELLATIONS. Welcome cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served to everyone who came to support the company’s season ender and Rem Zamora’s return to the director’s chair. Guests settled in with their bubblies in hand to watch the two-actor play that ran for 80 minutes without intermission. The Drama League Award nominated play unfolded with riveting performances by multi-awarded thespian Cris Villonco and Philippine theatre’s newest leading man JC Santos. Both actors carried out very challenging scenes where thoughts and emotions literally change within seconds showcasing their raw and incredible talent giving the audience an unforgettable theater experience.
