The rain was heavy, but dispositions were bright the night Nikki Tang’s company DMark Beauty launched the latest products from NeoStrata at a special #RSVPLifestyleAsia. The Raffles Salon on the 9th floor of the Raffles Hotel was setup as a private dining space, where invitees and friends of the brand came together for an evening of good food, fine drinks, and to learn about the innovative beauty products.
Nikki, whose company is NeoStrata’s official distributor in the Philippines, welcomed guests who waded through EDSA traffic for the occasion. NeoStrata’s Catherine Mueller and Leigh Ann Catlin flew from the United States just for the event to introduce the new NeoStrata Prosystem Retinol Peel and the Retinol + NAG Complex formula to a group of excited guests. The Retinol Peel is the first of its kind. It is liquid which has been “clinically proven to exfoliate and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, help reduce acne and improve skin laxity.” Retinol + NAG Complex’s formula on the other hand is pure 0.5% Retinol in a tube and can help sooth and diminish unwanted lines and spots on the face, all while building volume.
Guests of honor Z and Aivee Teo of the A Institute, who uses NeoStrata regularly for their treatments, were in attendance. Round tables covered in white linens were adorned with colorful blooms by Robert Blancaflor. The room was filled with lively chatter about the new products. Glasses of wine were served over a dinner prepared by Raffles’ premium French brasserie Mireio. When the guests were full, Lifestyle Asia Editor in Chief Anna Sobrepena made an exciting announcement: it was time to raffle off five retinol peel treatments at the A Institute.
The crowd stirred with anticipation as names were picked out of a glass bowl. Everybody stared quietly as Nikki, Z, Aivee, Catherine and Leigh Ann chose at random. The first pair of winners were lucky sisters Jam and Joyce Chan who sat next to each other. Rosanna Laurel’s name was picked third. “My favorite…Helen Ong,” announced Z for the fourth winner. Lastly, Carlo Rojas was picked as the final raffle victor. The evening ended with everybody going home as winners, when Nikki surprised the crowd with NeoStrata gift packs and the latest issue of Lifestyle Asia.
