World-renowned fashion designer Ricardo Preto recently launched his exclusive collection for Rustan’s at Blackbird. The intimate affair showcased Ricardo’s FW16 Collections inspired by minimalist lines of modern architecture shown in the silhouettes of the pieces. Taking inspiration from lush vegetation and beautiful semi-precious stones found in the country, Ricardo translated them into prints. Another line Ricardo worked on is the U by RP Brand, geared for the urban trendsetter that enjoys casual wear with comfort and ease. The collection took inspiration from Classical Greek art history, infused with geometric prints on flowing fabrics. Soon after the fashion show, Ricardo took time to entertain the guests over coffee and tea.
Ricardo Preto is the Creative Director of Ricardo Preto Exclusive for Rustan’s and U by Ricardo Preto for Rustan’s. Both brands are under the management of Rustan Commercial Corporation and are sold at Rustan’s Department Stores and are exclusively available in Rustan’s Department stores.
