Before the age of “Bieber fever” was the long-running “Cassidymania”, devoted to the true pioneering teen idol and heartthrob all the way from the psychedelic 70s, David Cassidy. The once-teen who stole the hearts of many women (including our mothers and grandmothers, undoubtedly) has recently passed at the age of 67, and the world is in tears.
“On behalf of the entire Cassidy family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, our uncle, and our dear brother, David Cassidy,” says Jo-Ann Geffen, president and CEO of JAG Entertainment.
According to a close family friend of Cassidy, his peaceful death had been rooted from his organ failure days before, so much so that a liver transplant was desperately needed.
Today, we are here to celebrate the life of David Cassidy, otherwise known as the dashing Keith Partridge from the hit 70s sitcom “The Partridge Family”—a character loved by many, up to this very day.
“I Think I Love You” would be an understatement at this point. We send out an abundance of love to Cassidy’s family and friends.
