5 of Prince George’s Most Adorable Outfits -

When the heir to the English Monarchy Prince George was born on the 22nd of July 2014, it wasn’t long before the palace began releasing official images of the infant. George became world famous, capturing hearts beyond those of the British people. The world took notice of the little prince, who’s personal style (curated by fashion queen and mama Princess Kate) remained to be memorable and always dashing. His signature look: SHORTS. The world began asking questions: why does the young royal always wear shorts and never trousers?

A recent study done by Harper’s Bazar UK revealed that wearing shorts is a tradition done by the royal families. Rain, shine, and even during winter, it has been a common practice of those with noble birth are to clothe their children in shorts.

“It’s a very English thing to dress a young boy in shorts. Trousers are for older boys and men, whereas shorts on young boys is one of those silent class makers that we have in England. Although times are (slowly) changing, a pair of trousers on a young boy is considered quite middle class—quite suburban. And no self-respecting artisto or royal would want be considered suburban,” shared Etiquette Expert William Hanson to Harper’s Bazar UK.

We look at the five of the most adorable looks worn by the shorts-loving prince!
