The Bride Wore a Swarovski Embroidered Gown: Bryan Chua and Micheleen Subia's Gatsby-Inspired Wedding -

The romance between Bryan Chua and Micheleen Subia began seven years ago. Their relationship progressed the night he made his marriage proposal during a midnight walk along the shores of Palawan near the Two Seasons Resort. Bryan’s work as Honorary Consul of Peru to the Philippines and Micheleen’s ties with many business leaders in Isabela drew up an extensive guest list. When the couple wed at the San Antonio Parish, they had invited no less than 1,500 people who filled the Marriott Grand Ballroom during a Great Gatsby inspired reception.

The bride looked radiant in a fully embroidered Swarovski gown by Veluz while the groom wore a tux by Randy Ortiz. That night was Bryan’s debut on the dance floor as he and his wife waltzed to Steve Tyrell’s Sunny Side of the Street. While he had gamely agreed, he jested that it was also his last performance.

Guess enjoyed a delicious lauriat menu created by Chef Law Wui Wing, which included premium delicacies like pink garoupa, live lobster on E-fu noodles and pigeon and lamb with mint. A song number by McDonald’s Philippines Founder and Chairman George Yang was followed by a cotillion dance performed by members of the diplomatic corps of the Philippines.
