What You Missed at This Year's Marry Me At Marriott -

The 5th annual #MarryMetAtMarriot bridal show impressed style lovers and soon-to-be-wed couples with the latest collections by the wedding industry’s top fashion designers. The Marriott Grand Ballroom was transformed into a luxurious wedding reception, with a white stage at the center for the memorable evening of fashion and surprises. Even the hallway leading to the venue played an important role as Marriot’s Executive Chef Meik Brammer prepared an indulgent spread for guests to enjoy. Canapes, bourbon smoked pork leg, organic vegetables, locally sourced cheeses, a plush desert spread, and unlimited beverages were highlights of the evening.

A sleek Mercedes Benz SLC bridal car and an elegant Mercedes Convertible opened the show, making its way down the runway as if it were a model itself. It was no one less than Alden Richards driving the vehicle, wearing his custom made Avel Bacudio (one of the night’s featured designers) tuxedo. Guests were excited to see the different designer’s muses. A mix of society regulars, style influencers and celebrities walked the runway to support their favorite artist. Young designer Patty Ang opened the show of her good friend, Michael Levya. While Hannah Kong choose the little daughters of family and friend’s to help show off her new flower girl looks.

The Marriott has always been a staunch supporter of grand weddings, planning the evening with much attention and love that guests would have thought they were attending “the wedding of the year”. In between the impressive bridal collections of Avel Bacudio, Hannah Kong, Happy Andrada and Michael Leyva, two aerial dancers performed on the Grand Ballroom’s 12-meter high ceiling with nothing but fabric to support their weight. An 8-tier wedding cake descended from the ceiling in a breathtaking moment. Wedding instrumentalist Bernie Pasabla played romantic melodies as rose petals fell from the ceiling. The evening was filled with music as top dancers and even trio singing group Groomsman took to the stage.
