Her attentive audience took down notes, captured the proceedings on video from their phones and sampled the finished pad thai, tom yung and green curry dishes. Vice President Leni Robredo, who enjoys Asian cuisine, was given an apron and a cooking stove alongside the Thai envoy’s wife, followed instructions to the letter, successfully replicating the food popular among Filipinos. The cooking class moved to the dining room, where the hostess had prepared more Thai specialties everyone enjoyed.
