IWC Shaffhausen Introduces Karolina Kurkova to Leonardo Da Vinci -

“Time is extremely important. We need to make it count, everyday and every second,” shared IWC Schaffhausen brand ambassador Karolin Kurkova over lunch at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok. The supermodel had just flown in from her Malibu home for the inauguration of the Da Vinci exhibit at the Atrium of Siam Parang Thailand. A first in South East Asia, the exhibit running from June 6 to June 18, 2017 will showcase watches from the iconic watch brand’s rare archives and also the latest timepieces from the new Da Vinci line.

“The Da Vinci collection really takes us back in time,” she mentions after a sip of champagne. Leonardo Da Vinci and his contributions to both art and science inspires the new line that were designed to have the precision created by master artisans while keeping IWC’s elegant, sleek design. The exhibit itself is designed to look like a chronograph, with the ceiling made to appear like the Flower of Life motif engraved on the back of every Da Vinci timepiece.

Guests from all over Asia arrived at the inauguration last June 5 at the Thai capital. Karolina assisted in a ribbon cutting before timepiece lovers, celebrities, and members of the press were given the opportunity to get lost within the exhibit. Special lounge areas were set up under a structure that is reminiscent of Italian palazzos. Both ladies and gentlemen were eager to try on watches from IWC Schaffhausen and the event went on till closing time.
