Samba at Shangri-La at the Fort was decked out with timepiece displays of the new Royal Oak collection from Audemars Piguet. The theme was Havana nights. Ladies were asked to dress in floral printed dresses, while men donned straw fedoras and their best Cuban-inspired button ups. Neon lights illuminated the room, shining upon the chronograph collection which was displayed in glass boxes. Because of the vibe, the timepieces looked as if they were hidden treasure shipped straight from Old Havana. Whiskey and fruity cocktail glasses clinked and clanked as watch lovers toasted to celebrate. VIP discussed the collection thoroughly over drinks and cigars. As the party winded down, Audemars and Lucerne wanted to send guests away with a keepsake of the event. All those who attended walked out with flasks covered in leather pouches with their initials engraved on it.
