Channeling that of an extravagant night out in 1985 is Mark Bumgarner’s latest collection, which made its grand premiere during the last show of Mega Fashion Week S/S 2018. Closing the season with his signature extravagant flare, Mark Bumgarner definitely made it a season to remember.
Gearing away from his usual red carpet-ready creations, Bumgarner showcased an elaborate 20-piece collection of everyday-wear fit for the woman of power. Inspired by the lavish textiles he had seen during his European trip, Bumgarner’s latest offering features separates of shoulder-baring tops with floor-length cigarette pants, big, flamboyant sleeves, flashy jewel tones, subdued pastels, and crystal-accented gowns—all of which he will be releasing in the international shopping website, Moda Operandi.
With an outstanding roster of clients including that of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was clad in one of his pieces during the Cannes 2017 Film Festival, Mark Bumgarner is starting to earn international acclamation, and rightfully so. It was a star-studded closing show, featuring a roster of guests which include that of Ruffa Gutierrez, Tricia Centenera, Steph Ayson, and Nikki Verzo, to name a few.
