Celebrating Tim Yap’s Journey to Turkey

Eventologist and Lifestyle Asia May cover personality Tim Yap welcomed his closest friends to Mireio at the Raffles Makati for RSVP Lifestyle Asia. Tim was in high-spirits as he celebrated the sold out Travel issue of the magazine, which was shot in Turkey last April. Friends chattered over drinks and French cuisine, sharing travel stories about their gracious host, often inserting inside jokes that not everyone understood, but surely enjoyed to hear. Tim’s diverse circle of friends were all represented that evening. Fashion designers, art enthusiasts, longtime friends, business partners, and accomplices in fun, filled the two long dining tables over a four course meal and endless bottles of wine and champagne. As everyone delighted in the final bites of their Apple Tartatin desert, Tim raised his flute of Moët Rosé and made a toast of thanks in a speech filled with his signature brand of humor. When he wrapped up, he noticed a commonality in all his guests, “I just realized. I’ve traveled with everyone in this room.”
