Cool young moms walked into a garden setting at the lobby of East Wing for the afternoon tea party celebrating Shangri-la Plaza ‘s 25th anniversary and Lifestyle Asia’s November issue. Flowers bloomed in spring colors on two long table set-up with TWG’s tea service. Cover girl Mikaela Lagdameo Martinez brought baby Maxen, who easily became the center of attention. There was a short program with remarks by Shangri-la Plaza General Manager Lala Fojas and a video highlighting Shang moments before the toast to mark the double occasion. The party continued with Mika’s friends arriving till the early evening to greet her and catch up with each other. There was enough champagne, canapés and tea to keep them going with till it was time to leave.
