At 68, Anna Wintour Is Ruling The World -

Anna Wintour —the feisty, formidable, and influential editor-in-chief of Vogue slash artistic director of Condé Nast, recently turned 68 last November 3…and yet the ‘Most Powerful Woman In Media and Entertainment’ (as dubbed by Forbes magazine) seems like she still has room for a plethora of additional acclamations before she can properly call it a life well-lived.

The pioneer woman behind the chic, sleek bob and Chanel sunglasses combo has been a persona adored and respected by most (and maybe feared by some), living a $2 million per annum life that 99% of the Earth’s population can only dream of. One can most definitely say that the world played favorites with this one; Having been born in a family of editors, Anna was indeed destined to play a role no one else can ever give justice to but Anna Wintour herself.

Before her iconic stint as editor-in-chief of Vogue, Wintour started her career as a fashion opinion-leader at Harper’s Bazaar, British Vogue and House and Garden—some very impressive credentials, if we do say so ourselves. Since then, she has become one of the most powerful women in the business, being a natural in starting conversations, brushing shoulders with the world’s most elite, and even making a brand out of herself.

While we can blabber on and on about our insatiable love for Ms.Wintour slash the ‘Devil in Prada’ herself, we’ll let a brief look into the extravaganza that is her life do all the talking.

Happy birthday, Anna!
