Breitling Opens Its Second Manila Boutique at Podium Mall and It’s Pushing Boundaries on the Perception of What Luxury Stores Should Look Like - Luxe Living

The experience of buying a luxury watch should begin as soon as one enters the shop doors. A buyer (whether a seasoned collector or a first-time watch owner) must be in the proper mood during shopping sessions. Lighting is important, as the first impression of a wristwatch is always its appearance. All models should be lined up and properly displayed. The shop should feel as if it is Willy Wonka’s factory for the high-powered businessman. “Is this right for me?” you may ask yourself when gazing over one of the latest chronograph releases. It also helps if the store interiors are sleek enough to make patrons feel as if they were in the official maison headquarters, whether it in France or Switzerland. Lastly, the staff must be well-versed. Timepiece lovers and collectors are a discriminating bunch, meaning retailers must be learned about each and every product on display.
