Audacious Claim to Reduce Wrinkles, Improve Elasticity and have Newborn Skin in the Morning with One Drop of La Prairie’s Night Elixir

  • March 12, 2018

Recover youthful skin with one drop of La Prairie Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir. This is the audacious claim of La Prairie’s latest elixir that contains compounds designed to improve skin texture and elasticity, reduce the appearance of lines and promote a youthful radiance

The promise came in a faceted, amethyst-colored vessel containing an alchemic distillation to regain youthfulness. La Prairie recently presented the Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir offering a rejuvenating night concentrate to improve skin’s texture and elasticity, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and promote facial radiance. Had it been any other brand, it would have sounded like another press release. That La Prairie was making the claim was cause for pause.

Most Powerful Rejuvenating Potion

The brand reputation for formulating premium quality skincare lines establishes La Prairie among the leaders in the luxury market. Dr. Paul Niehans, who launched Clinique La Prairie in 1931 in Switzerland, pioneered in cellular rejuvenation research and applied his findings to create a formulation that remains at the core of all the company’s products.

La Prairie Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir contains the brand’s proprietary complex with an infusion of rare, active ingredients to elevate skin care to a higher dimension. It contains hyaluronan or hyaluronic acid, the carbohydrate molecule that provides lubrication to the body’s connective tissues and contributes to the overall health of the skin. The body produces hyaluronic acid, which is responsible for binding the water molecules that moisturize skin and keeps the skin looking plump. The body’s ability to produce hyaluronic acid diminishes with aging.

This latest formulation produced in the La Prairie laboratories includes vitamin C, an antioxidant, which promotes collagen synthesis, and vitamin E, another antioxidant that protects against UV exposure.

Rites of Night

The presentation of the potion for night time application was an experiential arrangement within a suite of Shangri-la at The Fort. It began with a Rolls Royce pick-up from the residence and unfolded in an overnight stay. The merits of the latest product were explained over tea. After dinner, a trained therapist brought her tray of La Prairie skin care products, including the La Prairie Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir, to the suite and skillfully applied the recommended night-time ritual with her fingertips.

The facial pampering, that began with cleansing and toning, included one drop of the elixir that has the highest concentration of a compound addressing oxidation and inflammation. Both are causes for skin aging.

La Prairie Platinum Rare Cellular Elixir was designed to be massaged onto the skin at the end of the day, being the most beneficial time when elastin molecules and stem cells are rebuilding during sleep. The therapist finished with the Platinum Rare Cellular Cream.

Newborn Skin by Morning

Earlier, at the tea time presentation, it was explained that the Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir supports the skin regeneration process by helping to detoxify, nourish, respirate or breathe and boost immunity. Reports have claimed that improvements are visible after a few weeks, although the over 40-face may see more apparent changes after six weeks of regular use. That would be covered by one 20 ml jewel bottle.

The claim to a rejuvenated appearance was promoted as newborn skin by morning. There are three more weeks to go of the one-drop, nighttime ritual and while expectations are being managed, some compliments indicate that it may already be happening.
