September 10, 2018
From Tim Yap’s playful suits and tuxedos to Z Teo’s on-point athleisure looks, these eight stylish Manila gentleman are in the forefront of modern day menswear.
Whether sporting active wear during a marathon, dressed in a 90s-inspired outfit for Ann Curtis’ birthday, or attending a formal event in a well-tailored tuxedo, Adrien Semblat kicks off our list as one of Manila’s most stylish gents. The new father and Adidas executive is married to Isabelle Daza, and has found his own social media following. The French man now boasts a whooping 229k followers on IG, fans eager for a glimpse of his glamourous life.
Brian Poe Llamanzares
Brian Poe Llamanzares is a jack of all trades. He just finished a Master’s Degree at Columbia University in New York and worked as a research intern for NASA’s Disaster Applications Team, all while managing several businesses back home in the Manila. Despite a very busy schedule, Brian still has time to dress impeccably, opting for a preppy aesthetic that still feels effortless and modern.
Eric Dee Jr.
Eric Dee Jr. is one of the brilliant young minds behind Sunnies Studios, the retail company who started with fashionable sunglasses and specs, before opening a line of restaurants. Now they have expanded to a beauty line that everybody is talking about. As one of the heads of the company, you’d expect Eric’s IG to #Goals…and it really is. Stylish and streamlined, Eric’s style sensibilities are fit for the tech-savvy modern gentleman.
Miko de los Reyes
Simple and clean best describes Miko de los Reyes’ style aesthetic. The young architect almost always sports his signature coiffed hairdo, that keeps him looking sleek and professional. A world traveler, Miko populates his IG account with beautiful locations, which remarkably always matches his outfits!
It is no surprise that Nix Alanon has an eye for fashion and design. He is one of Manila’s endeared interior designers (@ftadesign), who also owns a thriving furniture business (@phoenixhome) that creates ready-made and custom pieces for the home. For his wardrobe, Nix prefers classic silhouettes, but often mixes it up with interesting prints and playful fabrics.
Rambo Nuñez Ortega
Rambo is the president of an events and public relations company. He also handles a digital influencer marketing agency. His style choices are almost like a modern day Steve McQueen, opting for clean silhouettes and classic pieces best showcased in his travel posts. In between his formal wear and overcoats, the young man also has a knack for street style, occasionally rocking denims, shorts, and t-shirts.
Look up “perfectly dressed for the occasion” in the dictionary and there you will find Tim Yap’s name. The PR king, social butterfly and eventologist is always on point in his style decisions. Whether at an event in a playful printed tuxedo or relaxing by the Hawaiian shore in an aloha shirt (trust us, Tim can make them cool again), Tim is adventurous and unafraid of a little quirk and color. His IG looks like a fashion catalogue for fun menswear.

Dr. Z Teo, the esteemed doctor and CEO of the Aivee Group, has perfected “athleisure” to a tee. His style aesthetic may by preppy, but he brings it to the modern age by adding active wear pieces from only the top designers and luxury brands. Z can seamlessly match a blazer with sneakers, or joggers with a button-up polo shirt. It also seems he’s passing on his style to his young sons, who are probably two of the best dressed little boys in Manila.
